Multilingual Publishing Series

One of the pioneering projects in the field of heritage publishing. It aims at the publication of rare codices reflecting the rich nature and variegation of the Arabic heritage, specially the works pertaining to the history of science; and introducing the treasures of Arabic contributions to the human intellectual experience to various cultures. It is expected to help in highlighting the actual development of scientific theories, in addition to establishing an objective perspective of the history of science underpinned by firm evidences from the original masterpieces of Arabic legacy. Each book in the series is provided with translations of the authenticated text into English, French and German along with a facsimile of the original manuscript. To date, two books have been published namely, Māhiyat al-Athar alladhī Yabdū ‘alā Wajh al-Qamar- ‘The Trace on the Moon’s Face’ by Ibn al-Haytham, and Maqāla fī al-Naqras - ‘Treatise on Gout’ by al-Rāzī. The third book, Muqaddima fīl-Tasawwuf - ‘Introduction to Sufism’ by al-Sulamī, is to be released in the near future.
